You do not use the the name of the boyfriend, the picture, or the caption.

You run the story using the pictures but foregoing the use of names, and the caption.

You definitely run the story because it is a newsworthy event. Showing the pictures could be in bad taste as well as using the victim’s name before positive identification can be verified. However, bad taste is not grounds for a libel case.
