Libel and Slander

You are the editor of a newspaper. A teenage girl is found dead, and wrapped in chains on the banks of a river. One of your photographers and a reporter arrive on the scene gathering information, and taking photos. Your reporter wants to print a picture of the woman’s body with her name, and under it a caption that reads “Kevin Hermann, the victim’s boyfriend, was the last person to see her alive.” Your reporter thinks this is correct but the police have not verified any of the information.
